2nd Lt. Nicholas Baronaitis

GMA is proud to be involved in organizing a blood donor clinic to honour the passing of 2nd Lt. Nicholas Baronaitis. Nick was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces along with his two older brothers. The Baronaitis family trained at GMA years ago and we have stayed close since then. Nick passed away from a rare form of cancer and required 50 pints of blood during his last few weeks and his parents would like to be able to see that many pints being donated in Nick's memory. This event was postponed from an earlier date due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We thank anyone who can make a donation.

WHEN & WHERE: The clinics are closed to walk-ins, so anyone wishing to donate has to schedule their appointment. We have chosen the week of October 19-24 and the clinics are operated at these locations:

35 Stone Church Rd Ancaster

1250 Brant St. Burlington

Donors can go onto blood.ca to book their own appointment. A sign up sheet will be in both clinics to track how many people come in and the number of pints donated.

Here is some information Canadian Blood Services has provided:
